All shooting events were well attended with a great turnout for the submachine gun, assault rifle, shotgun and M1 Garand matches. We would like to thank Todd Poore and Jeff Kelly for all their hard work in making them run smoothly and on time. Match results have been posted so take your time browsing the web site.

The airplanes did great until the wind shut down the flying on Saturday night. Kevin deserves a hardy congrats as he was on his own launching and flying them. His helper Mike Thompson was down with an injured back. Kevin never fails to amaze us with him inherent talent. His new plane design worked well. They flew faster and with more control than past models.

Julie’s raffle was very successful. Jim Haak donated two 50 rounds of 308 tracer. Our biggest thanks goes to shooters, vendor, and spectators for contributing to the “Split-the-Pot” raffle. Money is tight, but all were extremely generous. We are pleased to let you know that $780 was raised for the school. After the drawing, people continued to make donations. Barry Jacobs was the winner of $623 and he donated $100 of his winnings back to the local school. Thanks, Barry! Check out the raffle winners below.

The 4-H Clubs was a success as they managed to sell some excellent food, again helping them to send kids to Alaska as well as other states. We welcome them back in October.
